How about a DFDS Mini Cruise from Newcastle to Amsterdam from £79 per person. Our reviewer had a “fabulous and exciting weekend” on this cruise with great food and enjoyed the sites while walking around Amsterdam. Fancy something really different and romantic then pop along to Manor Farm at Bleasby for a stay in the Shepherd’s Hut – a bespoke handmade ‘hut’ based on the original design of accommodation that shepherds traditionally used to watch their sheep overnight situated in a secluded, private spot. Manor Farm also offer Gastro Dining in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Our reviewer said “it was the most relaxing night I have spent in a long time in the calm and peacefulness of the place”.
