Great front cover, the picture of Todo is so appealing, you just want to take him home.
If you love dogs, Italy or both you really do have to read this book.
Todo’s mistress died two years before Louise and Lawrence came to view the run down villa that is named Poggiolino, where Todo had been living alone ever since. He seemed to know that one day somebody would come along and make it home again – and he was right. This book follows what happens next………
This was a joy to read and I didn’t want to put it down. Full of humour and touching in places it takes you on Louise and Lawrence’s journey to new beginnings. With Todo in tow (who is the star of the story in my eyes).
Full of Italian culture and customs it has made me want to visit Italy, especially Tuscany on my next holiday.
Loved it, it should be made into a film!
