The Ivy Hut Spa & Beauty Treatments Review

I had the pleasure of visiting The Ivy Hut for some spa/beauty treatments on Monday on behalf of What’s Good To Do.

I found the location very easy, it’s situated in Franklin Road, Dunstable and there is ample parking available. This was my first visit and upon arriving I received a very warm welcome from the owner Tracie. Tracie walked with me to the cabin at the back of her garden. I was offered refreshments straight away which I found to be a very nice touch. The cabin was lovely inside and out, I felt almost immediately that I was in a high class beautician salon environment but the big difference was that this was very private which really suited me a secluded surrounding which was very peaceful and quiet (you could only hear the birds singing) and calming music playing in the cabin. The décor was lovely and inviting.

I was given some time to make myself comfortable on the lovely salon bed. I chose a 1 hour prescription facial, this included, face, scalp, hand, arm and decollate and shoulder massage. Products were used to nourish and rehydrate my skin. The facial oil used helped to plump out fine lines. Various masks and lotions and potions were applied. I came out feeling fully refreshed.

Tracie has over 20 years’ experience in the spa industry and is very professional in her manner.

I checked all the other treatments on offer and there is a very good selection, something for everyone.  I think I might book the prescription pedicure as my next indulgence in pampering.

The Ivy Hut is very flexible offering opening times to suit all, including evenings, weekends and times to suit in the day.

I would definitely recommend to my friends and family and very good value for money.

Prices start from £8.00 for an eyebrow shape up to a hot stone massage for £45.00. Luxury AHA facial is £35.00 for 1 hour which includes scalp arm and hand massage.

The Ivy Hut has ample free parking, free consultations, wifi and refreshments. Working hours are very flexible to suit your needs.
