Tetris Light Review

Tetris Light

Reviewed by Petra Aston

My first impression when opening the product based on the classic games Tetris was very good, as it looks very funky, modern and unique, although it did feel somewhat plastic-y.

This light product consists of 7 different coloured and shaped blocks, with one block being the main one with the on/off switch. Each shape is made up from various configurations of 4cm squares. There is a yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue and green shape. When the blocks come into contact with each other they illuminate. The blocks can be stacked in various arrangements and provide a pretty stable structure. Even though it’s not designed to be a game, everybody in our household enjoyed playing with it. The blocks are not very big; the whole lamp fits in an A4 sized so it easily fits on the bedside table or in the lounge.

The only problem we have found was that the cable wasn’t very long (1.2m) so it does restrict the positioning of the lamp. We did however find it a very nice addition to our lounge, a light with a twist. The light isn’t too bright so it can be left on when watching TV, it’s a nice relaxing effect and even our kids looked at it for ages as it has a calming effect.

I would recommend this product to everybody who loves Tetris or enjoys something different and it also would make a lovely gift.
