Tea Experience Review
Tea Experience

After receiving my selection of fine teas I had to purchase a tea strainer. I'm afraid I was a tea bag kind of girl. Chuck it in a cup, quick stir and hey presto!
After sampling these exquisite tea leaves blended with natural ingredients I’m converted (so is the lady down the road who I gave some too as well!)
All the teas came with instructions of how to prepare the perfect cuppa. In my case it involved a giant mug and cake to go with it. I have also given the tea to visitors who both commented and asked where my teabags were from! Now they think I've gone all posh but after having a quick look on the website the teas are actually very affordable but I still like to think that the teas that I have sampled are a posh version to my usual pyramid swirling in the cup!
I loved the selections and was given so many to try!
Osmanthus: contains osmanthus blossoms. It’s a green sencha tea, widely drank in china and it smelt really fruity and I could taste peaches. Really lovely cup of tea!
Keemun: is a black tea. With a sweet aroma and a hint of spice this dark reddish tea is perfect for any time of day.
Formosa Oolong: from the island of Taiwan. Lovely flowery taste, light in colour and spicy flowery taste.
Young Hyson: this was my favourite! Made with young leaves. A great breakfast cuppa has a pleasant aftertaste and one cuppa quickly followed with another.
I have also received three tea blooms that can make up to 3-4 pots of tea. They are made by hand using a silver needle incorporating green tea leaves and dried flowers! Once dropped in hot water the tea is delicate with a hint of flower taste. This is the ultimate in tea drinking. I invested in a clear glass teapot so I could watch the bloom open and infuse the water. These blooms come in 6 different varieties and each bloom makes between 3 and 4 pots of tea! The blooms have been selected for taste and looks and the flowering process is so pretty. Definitely something special and lovely to watch the tea process in a clear teapot. My sample came with full instructions and lots of advice on how to store. The teas are economical as some can be infused more than once and the blooms can be stored to be used again. Some of the teas can be drunk without milk and sugar and you can adapt the strength to suit your own personal taste.
I will definitely purchase more tea items and will be buying friends and family some gifts off the tea experience website. They even gift wrap too and stock a wide range of teas, teapots, teabowls and tea infusers! Perfect gift for Mother’s Day, a special treat or an everyday cup of tea!
