I was lucky to get to review the Galt Toys Activity Case with my daughter, who is 6 months old. It is suitable for children 6-9 months and upwards.
On opening it reminded me of a similar toy when I was younger. This activity case to an adult looks pretty basic but to a child its magical. My daughter spends hours amusing herself with this and all the time developing new skills.
The Activity Case has 6 activities; there is a button you press that squeaks, stripped roller, 3 sliding buttons, a dial that you turn to rotate a coloured disc, a slide mirror that reveals a bear, and my daughter’s favourite the bird you pull that chimes a bell. It takes a little while for a 6 month old to master all these but they don’t realise they are developing other skills, such as manual dexterity, along with play.
This case is small enough to take out with you to keep little ones amused. Like I say, to an adults eye you may think will this not amuse a child but yes, it certainly does.
I love this activity case as its small enough to take out and about with you but big enough to get lots of play and excitement from my child. I would give this a 5/5 for child entertainment and value for money.
