Hallmark Itty Bitty Superman Review

I was sent a Hallmark Itty Bitty toy to review. An Itty Bitty is described as a tiny version of a popular licensed character. I was sent Superman and I have to say, as always, he arrived just in the nick of time. Whilst sitting at my laptop struggling to get to the end of my dissertation, there was a knock at the door. It was my friendly, neighbourhood, post lady to deliver Itty Bitty Superman. I immediately opened the parcel and took Superman out. He was so cute and tiny that he could fit into the palm of my hand (5 x 8 x 13 cm). I was thrilled to discover that Superman could stand up, so I placed him on the table, beside my laptop and I think just by having another superhero in the room (him and me) I felt inspired to complete my work. Had Supergirl have come too, we possibly may have gotten around to getting the housework done that day as well, but there is only so much you can do!
Itty Bitty Superman is made to a very high quality. Close attention to detail has ensured that there is no mistaking that he is Superman. The fabric is vibrant and hardwearing and the stitching is strong. This however, does not impact on the softness of the toy. The body feels like it is filled with beans and may be apt for a toddler, as the size and texture would make grasping easy. I think this product would be most suitable as a novelty gift. Its size means it lends itself perfectly to fitting into gift bags as a top up gift, or as a stocking filler at Christmas time. I could imagine Itty Bittys sitting on desks at work, inspiring people to find their inner superhero, whilst working hard. The only problem with tiny, cute things is that they can cause obsessions. I keep looking at Itty Bitty Superman and he looks so lonely! Maybe Supergirl and The Flash would cheer him up?
Itty Bittys are cute and fun little toys, appropriate for all ages that are most suitable as novelty gifts or collectables. I would recommend this toy and give it a super, hugey wugey four stars.
