It was a great privilege to review the Baby Soothing Cream from the award winning, natural, plant-based Essentiel Vie range for mums and babies. The Essentiel Vie skincare range is organic and looks after mums and babies in so many essential ways – soothing, salving and moisturising – products you can trust. Essentiel Vie has been awarded Health, Beauty and Wellness ‘Best British Vegan Skincare Company 2020’, as well as many other awards. All products are Vegan, Paraben and sulphate free and are not tested on animals.
As a new Mum, although it is not always easy, I try to take care of myself and my baby as much as I can. We know by instinct that natural ingredients for our diet are by far the best and why should our skincare be no different? For Essentiel Vie, respecting Mother Nature and respecting our bodies go hand in hand. Essentiel Vie’s creator, A S (editor’s note – name edited to just initials) aimed to create a brand which went over and above the boundaries of other skincare products, with ingredients as fresh and healthy s all-natural food. In each Essentiel Vie formula, the ingredients are delectable fruit extracts, essential oils and botanical ingredients, completely free of artificial ingredients and truly food-grade premium.
Approved and recommended by Dr Nadia Yousri, Fellow of Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, and one of the newer products from this committed and caring company, the Essentiel Vie’s Baby Soothing Cream, 100 ml, was the essential natural remedy for my little one. It is most reassuring to know that the cream was developed by skin scientists and is suitable from birth.
As a family, we have sensitive skin and are prone to eczema, so it is very important that any skincare we use is anti-allergen and gentle, we found the cream to be the most perfect soother and moisturiser for our newborn. The natural ingredients of organic argan oil, jojoba oil and shea butter are combined in such a way that the cream is very gentle and light and yet most effective and long lasting.
The cream comes in a sturdy, neat pot, which can tuck away easily in a changing bag. For our precious newborn, her first few little patches of dry skin as well as some cradle cap were soothed and managed with a couple of applications of this wonderful cream. We applied a very small amount of the Baby Soothing Cream, with a gentle massage until absorbed into the areas. The cream was very moisturising and I really liked the fact that the cream is fully plant based and full of vitamins and nourishing nutrients. We now use the cream as a routine to keep baby’s skin feeling soft and healthy rather than just in reaction to dry patches of skin.
Baby skincare is one thing I don’t like to compromise on, with the Baby Soothing Cream we really don’t have to. It is great value for money as a small amount goes a long way – the Essentiel Vie Baby Soothing Cream is a quality, premium product and highly recommended.
