Swish to Go Review

When I was asked to review Swish to Go I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I had never heard of it before. It is a product hailed as the “fresh breath superhero” which acts as a toothpaste and mouthwash in one and comes in small portable sachets so that it can be used anytime anywhere.
Swish to Go comes in three flavours Mint Fresh, Cool Mint or Zesty Lemon, I was sent Mint Fresh to review.
Swish to Go comes in boxes of six sachets that retail at £3, larger boxes are also available online. Each of the plastic sachets contain a powder which, when tipped into the mouth, turns into liquid almost immediately. I was amazed at how quickly it dissolved. The minty liquid then needs to be swished around the mouth for about 10 seconds to clean the teeth and mouth and, unlike mouthwash, it can then be swallowed so it is very discreet to use. I was initially a bit worried about swallowing the liquid, as I would never normally swallow mouthwash, but from doing a bit of research I was reassured that Swish to Go is made using only natural ingredients and is also vegan friendly.
My experience of Swish to Go was that it was a bit tricky to tear open the sachets (although I do always struggle with sauce sachets too so it’s probably a personal thing, my partner didn’t have any problem with them!) but that the product itself was great. It had a really nice minty fresh taste and, after swishing the liquid around my mouth, my teeth did feel nice and clean. It was also good being able to swallow the liquid rather than spit it out as it really did make my breath feel nice and fresh too. And it didn’t draw attention to the fact that I was trying to clean my teeth/freshen my breath! I found that the minty feeling in my mouth lasted for a long time afterwards too which was reassuring.
Swish to Go is a great product and it would be really handy to keep a sachet in your handbag to ensure that you have minty fresh breath at all times. This would be especially handy around this time of year when you may be heading out on a romantic date for Valentine’s Day and may wish to kiss a loved one! Whilst I wouldn’t recommend buying Swish to Go as a gift for someone else, in case it was taken the wrong way, I would definitely recommend treating yourself to a pack so that you will be able to ensure fresh sparkling teeth and breath wherever you are.
I will definitely be keeping some sachets in my handbag so that I always have them handy.
I would give Swish to Go 4.5/5 – only marking down due to the fact that I found the sachets tricky to tear open!
