Being an arts and crafts fanatic, I could not wait to try out the Stitching Me Softly Friendship Bracelet Making Kit and I was not disappointed at all.

I had not heard of Stitching Me Softly before and to say that I now have is so pleasing. Run from her home in Bristol, Emma’s ethos stands out a mile and beyond. (Quote taken from Emma on her website) ‘Sustainability is really important to me and guides my decisions when choosing materials and packaging options. PRESENTATION BOX
A great start to find out that the box is recyclable. This is delightfully cute and packaged really well. It contains the following items needed to make the bracelet:-

1. Instructions – Beautifully put together with coloured illustrations so you can see what you are doing as you follow the instructions.
2. 1 x Laser Cut Loom – Not overly robust and could potentially snap quite easily if not handled carefully
3. 7 x 4 metre lengths of bright colours cotton yarns

What astounded me was the number of cotton yarn provided are enough to make up 12-15 bracelets as well as being able to use the yarn to make necklaces and keyring (this information was taken from Stitching Me Softly’s website). I cannot wait to give those a go.

The yarn is of an extremely high quality, it does not fray and is really nice and easy to work with.

WHAT MAKES STITCHING ME SOFTLY SO AWESOME?
Apart from what I have already mentioned above in my introduction to the company and Emma. At the time of when this review was submitted on 3rd February 2022, the company have planted 1,506 trees. You can even gift trees from as little as £3.10 for 25 trees, right up to 1,000 trees for £124.00. What an amazing project. Click on each group of trees and you will see the details of the plantation, where they were planted along with so much more information. I was mesmerised and it is something I will be sure to sit down with each of the grandchildren and show them. I will even get them to purchase some trees in their names too.

Such a great cause and I am blown away!

If I could give some constructive feedback, that would be to suggest some information within the package of contents explaining about the tree project and donation of tree with each purchase. If I were to gift a product, it would be great to have an information pamphlet so that the person receiving the gift would also know. It was only because I went on the website that I found this out. It is a great project and one I feel very passionate about and feel it could be advertised with each purchase, as I say especially if an item is brought as a gift.

Talking of buying as a gift, when purchasing items, if you are looking to purchase something as a gift, you have the option to have it wrapped with a gift message. It is only an extra £3.00 for this and makes it a wonderful idea and gives that little extra personal touch from Emma too.

Rating: An outstandingly awesome 5/5 and Emma is awesome with everything that she does and I wish her much more success.
