Having had the opportunity to use Steenbergs products before I was delighted to be given the chance to review these vanilla products. As somebody who likes to bake and cook I knew I would make good use of them.
All are organic, fairtrade and made with bourbon vanilla beans flown in from Madagascar.
With a mouthwatering aroma and truly delicious taste, you really can tell the difference between these, and shall we say ones of a not so high quality, I absolutely love them.
I was pleased to receive the pods, paste, extract and sugar, and set about using them. Vanilla compliments dairy and milk dishes particularly well, I added to custards, puddings, whipped cream and apple crumble. I thought the sugar was great in coffee and when sprinkled on waffles covered in whipped cream and blueberries the taste was divine.
Reasonably priced I would highly recommend you to try the Steenberg range. You would not be disappointed.
