The special person in my life and I tend to welcome any opportunity of a date night.  We were therefore delighted to have the opportunity of a date night at Hard Rock Café in Manchester Their St Patricks Day limited time menu is running from 14th – 21st March 2024.

I did want to mention that Hard Rock Café also has the following other UK locations – London, London Piccadilly Circus, Glasgow and Edinburgh. You can browse the locations by visiting this link.  Remembering back to my teenage years, it was such an exciting treat to visit one of the London Hard Rock Café locations.

I got the train into Manchester Victoria.  From there it was a short walk to The Printworks where Hard Rock Café, Manchester is located.  As I came out of the train station I could see the Printworks building.  My partner was already in the city centre, so I met him at the venue.  The venue looks cool and inviting. I sat for a few minutes at one of the outside tables while I was waiting for my partner to arrive. It is located in a bustling area of Manchester city centre.   As you enter the venue there is a shop on your left-hand side selling some lovely Hard Rock Café branded clothing and accessories.    Whilst I did not buy anything from the shop yesterday, I possibly might in the future as I would love to take my little humans for a meal there and buy them a Hard Rock Café hoodie or t-shirt each.

A friendly member of staff quickly seated us in our booth which was located at the back of the restaurant up some stairs. I have mobility issues.  One of the staff members kindly offered to help me up the stairs, which I thought was a lovely gesture. The booth had ample space and was cosy and comfortable. The food and drink that we ordered was all from the St Patricks Day limited time menu. Food wise, the St Patricks Day limited time menu gave us the option of pub cheese crudité which costs £15.95 or an Irish smash burger which costs £16.95.  We both decided to have the Irish smash burger.    Drinks wise we ordered some soft drinks not long after our arrival. Later on when ordering our meals, my partner ordered an Irish coffee which costs £9.10, and I ordered an Irish apple crush which costs £10.70. Because I didn’t want to have an alcoholic drink, the restaurant kindly prepared this for me without the Jameson Irish Whiskey.  The third drinks alcoholic drink option on the St Patricks Day limited time menu was Guinness which costs £7.25.   One set of the drinks we ordered did seem to take longer than I would have expected to arrive, but this was acknowledged by the member of staff who apologised for the delay with the drinks.   My partner really enjoyed his Irish coffee. I loved my alcohol-free Irish apple crush.  It was very thirst quenching and a good size.

Our food order came within a reasonable time, but I did think that it was a little bit on the cold side.  That said, I did not want to make a fuss and I feel confident that the restaurant would have rectified this situation had I mentioned it. The food tasted delicious and portion sizes were great.  We were asked which condiments we would like, and these came quickly.

The toilet facilities were in a clean, tidy and clearly checked on a regular basis.  All staff who I came across were approachable and professional.

Overall, it was a lovely meal, and we had an enjoyable evening.  I would recommend Hard Rock Café to others.   If you want to give Hard Rock Café, Manchester a try yourself, there is one day only offer which will be running on Thursday 21st March.  On that day, prices of their classic burgers will be rolled back to £8.75 which was the price on the restaurants opening day back in 2000.   Those who do not eat meat are not left out though, as the Moving Mountains Burger is part of the promotion. Hard Rock Café strongly advise making a booking.  The offer on Thursday 21st March coincides with the grand re-opening of the Printworks and the unveiling of the new digital ceiling.  It sounds like a wonderful opportunity.

I hope to visit one of the Hard Rock Café London locations on a future visit to London.
