Shrek’s Adventure London 2018 Review

Travel to Far Far Away…

There are a lot of attractions in London and the Shrek’s Adventure isn’t one that automatically springs to mind when thinking about where to visit in London. However, it was great fun, loved by the whole family.

Shrek’s Adventure is a short walk from Waterloo train and underground station and Westminster tube station. It is situated right next to the London Eye and the London Dungeons in the old County Hall building.

The queuing system is well organised with three different sections to access. There are plenty of helpful, friendly staff on hand to help with any queries that you may have. I would however recommend booking a time slot as it is a very busy attraction.

The adventure starts with a few photo opportunities that you have the chance to purchase at the end of the tour.

After this short stop, the adventure truly begins, and you start to meet the many actors and characters that help you along your way.

On your adventure to the kingdom of Far Far Away you get to ride on Donkey’s magic bus, cook up a spell with the Muffin Man, navigate the mirror maze of insanity.

Each part of the adventure included the visitors and had something fun and exciting happening throughout. Lots of nice surprises.

It was a busy attraction but from the start they kindly asked that all of the visiting children could stand at the front of each section so they were able to see what was going on throughout.

As you walked through the adventure the attention to detail was amazing. You really feel transported into the world of Shrek.

The actors that played the different roles were great and they had the group of visitors laughing and participating when asked.

I also really liked the appearance of some other Dreamworks characters like Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon etc. Enjoy being transported to the land of Far Far Away where you will meet many of the much-loved characters from the Shrek franchise. Including helping the loveable ogre himself to save the day. Get your singing voices and dancing shoes ready.

Whether your 50, 15 or 5 you will thoroughly enjoy this London attraction.
