My Nan and I went to the Grove Theatre, Dunstable to see Russian Cossacks. Upon arrival we were served very promptly at the bar and the staff were very helpful in helping us find our seats. The prices at the bar were as you would expect for a theatre and the hot chocolates were delicious.

As the curtain went up I was very unsure of what to expect, as I had never been to a show like this before and didn't really know much about Russian dancing. I’m glad to say I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The show was fantastic. A combination of live Russian music, singing and dancing. The many different costumes (300) were all spectacular and very colourful. The choreography was fantastic. The routines were imaginative and creative. It was great to see all the different instruments being played, some which I hadn't seen before. The cast were excellent and obviously enjoyed every minute of what they were doing. Their singing was absolutely beautiful and every different song or dance told a story. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.

After the show some of the dancers came out to have pictures taken with the audience and chat with everybody. They were very friendly and it was lovely to see some of the costumes close up. I had a great time and I would definitely love to see this show again.
