With this summer’s upcoming Olympic Games being held here in the U.K I leapt at the chance to read this book as the story is based upon runner Danny who dreams of gold by beating the fastest man in the world in a race. Unfortunately Danny doesn’t get the response he wanted after his wish is made public and he soon turns into a joke and is ridiculed by pretty much everyone around him. Danny can only shut them up one way and that is to compete in the Olympic Games and run for gold. Will Danny be the next world champion or will his dreams of gold be shattered?

Well I guess you need to buy the book and find out for yourselves.

A well written short story which fits in well with this year’s Olympic Games.
