I was delighted to be able to try out 2 Respisense Ditto monitors on my newborn twins, now 2 weeks old. With one baby we would use a sound and movement monitor, but for space reasons we wanted to co-sleep our twins at separate ends of a cot with a divider in the middle and a sound and movement monitor's movement function is not suitable for co-sleeping twins. I had a bit of trouble at first fitting the device to the babies' nappies but the helpful team at Respisense pointed us in the right direction. If a baby stops moving for a certain number of seconds they are gently stimulated by the monitor. After a certain number of seconds it alarms alerting the parent. Whilst this is a parenting aid, not a medical device I find it really useful.

We have only tried it when using their cot up till now but will be fitting it to their nappies when making a long trip in their car seat during the summer holidays and also when they are out and about in their stroller. It's great that a father of triplets has developed this device and I would recommend it not just to any parent of multiples, but to anyone who wants a device suitable for a car seat, stroller, travel cot etc…
