PURLING The Roaring 20s Playing Cards is a remarkable card set that is designed to encapsulate the glamour and vibrance of the Art Deco era. Does it do that? Absolutely. They are absolutely stunning. You can see the artists has been inspired by the opulence of the 1920s and the timeless aesthetic of The Great Gatsby, these cards really do feature striking flat-colour illustrations that evoke a real sense of luxury, elegance and nostalgia.
Each card is meticulously crafted with intricate details, showcasing bold geometric patterns, gold foil accents, and sophisticated character designs. The artwork which has been created by Malcolm Trollope-Davis, highlights the elegance of the roaring twenties while delivering a modern twist, making these cards not only functional but also collectible pieces of art. I really cannot stop looking at them to the point that we play may card games that require 2 decks of cards, so I will now have to get another one.

This deck has custom-location number cards and reimagined, playfully interpreted court cards, the deck has a highly luxurious and sophisticated charm about it; so much so, I have never seen a deck of cards on the high street like it. The attention to detail has produced a unique and conversational deck of cards which most definitely will get your friends, family and guests talking.
These cards are most certainly a cut above any other deck of cards and yes, they are pricey, however, not only do you get what you pay for and after however many times they rip tear, corners lift etc, unlike Purling’s cards, these are built to last and it really is a deck of mini luxury art. They are so lovely to hold, it feels like I am holding silk in my hands. They are lightweight and so very easy to handle.
Thinking of what to get someone for Christmas that loves games, card games especially, then this is the pack to get. With Christmas round the corner and that time of year where we all play games more so than any other time of year, this deck of cards will Mae the perfect Christmas gift. Maybe you want to treat someone just because…. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

The deck of cards one in a Purling luxury branded box which is very strong, robust and oozes elegance, sophistication and luxury.
The gold foil accents on the picture cards are superb and have a lovely shine to them when the light catches them.

This deck of cards is truly unique and really intended for those that are seriously into card games and looking for something sleek, elegance and very different. These are the kind of cards you would expect to see in a top class casino. This is reflected in the price due to the quality of the deck of cards and the storage box they come in.
