Prezzee Gift Card Review

Sometimes I just do not know what present to get for friends or family – especially my husband as he is so hard to buy for! Vouchers are always an option, but then comes the question of where they would most like a voucher for, and whether it is a little impersonal? Well here comes the good news – Prezzee is a digital gift card you can purchase where the recipient can not only choose which shop, restaurant or activity to exchange it for, but you can also personalise each voucher with a video message that gets sent with it! My voucher arrived promptly by email with a lovely written message attached, and also a video message recorded just for me. It was such a lovely personal touch and immediately put a smile on my face. Everyone can record their own message simply on a phone or computer, and it gets emailed with the gift card, adding this personal element to the gift. This company does only send gift cards via email which may not suit some especially if you have a more elderly friend or relative, but it does mean that the company have no added fees for purchasing one like many other competitors, and they are also reducing the amount of plastic going in to landfill. The company are obviously very conscious of this and have the statistics on their website of how much CO2 they are saving along with PVC plastic going in to landfill through only using digital cards.

Feeling happy with the first appearances of my gift card and the message I had received, I read on and there were very clear instructions on how to use it. I clicked on the link to exchange it for a shop and was immediately faced with many options of where to spend it, and even better you can choose multiple places to spend the voucher if you wish to, exchanging it in quantities of £5 each time. You can choose not to exchange it all at once if you wish and save some in your Prezzee wallet until you know where you would like to spend it, and there is a 2 year expiry date on them so there is plenty of time to do this which may help save for a special occasion. To make access to it even easier there is a free app you can download. I decided to exchange my whole voucher straight away and to use it on Amazon, and it was so easy to do. It immediately generated a code which I copied and pasted in to my amazon account and the money is now waiting there for when I next make an order. I have been impressed with Prezzee from start to finish, both with their efficiency, ease of use, and eco friendly values. The website is well laid out and it shows you can buy vouchers for between £5 – £500 and also for people in the USA, Australia and New Zealand as well, making it a great gift for friends abroad without huge postage costs.
