My family and I are currently at Disneyland Paris for a few days. Last night we had a family meal for 9 people at Planet Hollywood Paris within Disney village at Disneyland Paris Resort.

Upon arrival at the fabulous building, set over 3 floors, we were greeted by some lovely friendly and approachable members of staff and quickly seated in the upstairs part of the restaurant, they were expecting us and although our party was quite large with 5 adults and 4 children it wasn’t a problem for them. Our drinks order was taken and arrived quickly, the children were given activity sheets and we were left to browse the menu while the children were fascinated by the surroundings that featured memorabilia from films, television shows and of course Disney characters.

After going through the menu the two oldest children (aged 9 & 12 years) opted for cheese burger and fries and chicken crunch and fries. My three year old twin boys shared a chicken crunch and fries kids meal. The kid’s meals included a main, a dessert and a drink for around 14 euros which is good value.

The adults meals came shortly afterwards. I opted for a blue cheese burger and fries. This wasn’t quite cooked to my liking and our waiter was brilliant, he offered to bring me another or for me to choose a different dish. I opted for chicken fajitas which came with rice and loads of sizzling vegetables. My sister had the beef fajitas and myself and another adult in our party had the chicken. My mum had steak and fries which she really enjoyed. Our waiter was really helpful in explaining how her steak would be cooked. My dad had teriyaki salmon which was so tasty. We all agreed that our main course tasted delicious.

The children loved their ice cream dessert as you can see from the pictures below.

Prices for the main courses we had ranged from around 14 euros to 24 euros, which for a holiday destination resort is excellent value for money.

During our meal a photographer came round and took a photo of our family which we bought as a keepsake for 10 euros. During the meal we used the toilet facilities which were clean and clearly regularly checked.

Our surroundings within the restaurant were fascinating for the children as there were television screens all around the room and all sorts of memorabilia. I loved working out which celeb was which on the paper place setting we were given. The kids enjoyed doing the activities they were given.

PHPActivity

On our way out of the restaurant we collected a Kinder egg treat for the children in our party. We had a top quality meal with amazing service with well-presented, generous sized portions that were reasonably priced. Apart from the small problem with my burger the food tasted great and we all had a very enjoyable family meal. The staff were excellent with a great knowledge of the menu and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would recommend the restaurant and return to it again, it is definitely worth a visit.
