Plan Toys Wooden Camping Set From Soren’s House Review

Having recently reviewed Plan Toys Detective set and Elephant Money Box, I could not wait to review their Wooden Camping Set. I love the fact that I recently learnt that they are an eco brand, using sustainable, ethically sourced rubberwood for all of their toys. Not only are they great for making such great toys for children to have fun with, it is also great to know that we are also helping the environment.

This is one cute little camping set and as we love camping, well, more like using our caravan, we packed this up and took it in the caravan for a short break with a couple of the youngest grandchildren. We have an awning that goes on the side of the caravan, so, once this was all set up, the two boys started to set up their camping set and they loved it.

As we got made a start with the bbq, the boys set up the equipment in the campaign set. They mimicked pretty much everything we did with the bbq and eating in general. When we got a cup, they got the cup from the set, along with the kettle. Whilst we used kitchen roll on the table, they then got the toilet roll from the camping set. The role play just went on and on and it was great to watch them.

This camping set really gets their imagination going. It is great for encouraging creative play as well as their communication. Other skills that are great when playing with this camping set are their motor skills and coordination. These help with the had and eye movement whilst learning along the way and most importantly, enjoying playtime with it.
