When I first opened the packaging I was quite taken aback and initially thought that it was quite a strange looking doll as it has a normal looking dolls body (apart from 4 fingers instead of 5) but had a dogs face.
When I gave this to my 6 year old to play with she started laughing and said “haha that’s funny – it’s a doll with a dog’s head” and ran off to play with it. She sat for about 10 minutes playing, she didn’t realise that the hair came off on either side so after I showed her she sat playing with it swapping the hair pieces over to change it from a brunette to a blonde (she said it looks nicer with brown hair). I did notice when she was playing that its arms and legs are much more flexible than her other dolls and have a lot more movement, they go sideways and around, not just back and forward.
The doll comes with a couple of accessories which were a pair of shoes, a handbag, a bracelet and a headband which match the dolls dress. It also came with a passport sticker but there was nowhere to put this so I popped it back in the box (I’m not sure if there is a small passport book or something that it’s meant to be stuck on but if there is, it wasn’t in the box).
Although my daughter played with this for a while it didn’t hold her attention for long enough. Maybe if she had some of the other dolls or some of the accessory sets she would have done. By itself I personally think that if one of the accessories was a brush/comb then she would have sat and played with it for longer as the thing that stands out on this doll is its hair and its brilliant for her to sit and style/plait etc…
