Personalised Wooden Memory Star Review
Personalised Wooden Memory Star
Reviewed by Louisa Nashir
Losing a friend or loved one is one of the hardest things a person can experience.
Sadly I know this as I lost my Dad when I was 12 and my mum 2 years ago. My grieving for my mum was very different to my dad as I realised that my parents had both left this world and I felt incredibly lonely but also relieved that after 17 years apart my parents would finally be reunited with each other.
One thing I really wanted was a way to remember them but nothing over the top, just something small and meaningful which I could take out whenever I wanted some comfort or when my daughter wanted to hear about her grandparents.
When I was asked to review a personalised wooden memory star from Modo Creative Ltd I had no idea what to expect but sent the personalisation details I wanted (Mum and Dad).
When the star arrived it was well packaged to prevent damage and upon opening I felt my eyes filling with happy tears.
The star came in a small wooden box with the most beautiful memorial poem and looked so cheery and special.
The star itself is so beautiful and I feel incredibly lucky to have received it.
The star is white and has Mum & Dad printed onto the front and can be hung from a green and cream ribbon.
It’s a beautiful reminder of my lovely parents and I will cherish this star as I ha e very little of my parents to remind me of them.
This Christmas my parents memory star will be placed on our tree and then placed safely back into its box and kept close to me.
A beautiful way to remember those no longer with us.
