Pabobo Dream Theatre Review
Dream Theatre
Aqua Night Light
Reviewed by Emma Baker
I was very excited to have received this dream theatre especially having a new born baby to help with those sleepless nights.
It came in a very colourful box with a picture of what the product looked like, and it contained loads of information on how it worked and the uses of using the dream theatre.
When I opened the box I was met by what I would describe as a 'camping light' as it was a plain plastic dome shaped item, showing no pattern or childlike features. Before looking at the instructions I examined the light looking for the battery compartment to see what type it took and I was over joyed when I realised that it was actually powered by plug saving me time and money looking for and buying batteries.
Having two older children as well as a new born, they too couldn't wait to plug it in and see what it did, and this plain dome was transformed into a magical light experience when the animations where projected on the wall and ceiling. Even more excited when they pressed the button on the lead and music started to play. There were two sounds to choose from a gentle lullaby or soothing nature sounds.
I couldn't wait to take this upstairs to see how it worked and looked in the darkness of night. I was happy that the lights weren't too bright and that it provided a nice warm glow in the room along with the mesmerising pictures of the animals on the light box and pretty colours on the ceiling. I pressed the button to play the lullaby tune, to find the volume a little louder than what I would normal like for bedtime, but unfortunately there wasn't a volume control button, but it was something that we soon got used to.
It came with a great 'magic' button that you could press to set it to sleep mode, and it would magically turn itself back on if your child began to cry. Magic!!! Once on the dream theatre plays for 45 minutes, which gave enough time for my little ones to drop off sound asleep.
I was pleased to read that it worked with a cold LED light giving me peace of mind that it wouldn't overheat or hurt my child should they touch it if I wasn't around. It also came with a wall mount meaning that I could put it out of the way if I wanted but we chose to put it on the bedside table.
I am over joyed with this and the peaceful nights that it has provided, I think the price of the lamp is a little high (£64) but in the long run would be worth it if you could afford it, as what’s the price of a decent nights sleep??!!
A must have for not only a baby but young child's room, a big thumbs up from a well-rested mummy.
