WOW! WOW! WOW! This jigsaw is for any little person who loves space and doing jigsaws.

What better way to enjoy the school holidays with your little one(s) by sitting down for some quality time putting a jigsaw together. I am an absolute huge fan of any toy, game etc. that encompasses sensory and interactive play. I find it is extremely important for any child’s development and as I have said before on other items I have reviewed, Orchard Toys are just as equal to anything else I have reviewed.

I really love the colours this jigsaw, they are bright and bold and enough to grab any child’s attention (see below for colours). I love jigsaws with little ones as it is a great opportunity for interactive and seniority play / development as I could make reference to a colour of a piece of jigsaw or an image etc and get my Nephew to point it to me. I would then ask him where he thought it would go and he was so pleased when pieces stated fitting together. As with any jigsaw, the edge is always the best part too start with. I would lay the edges out in such a way, that it was easier for him to find then and then put them together. (He is only 4.5) so any help for him would give him a real boost of fun, excitement and confidence in what he was doing.

The jigsaw is amazing and offers a fantastic cosmic scene which also includes robots, aliens, rockets as well and the infamous astronauts.

There is learning guide which is an amazing addition to the jigsaw. This is where you really do see the cognitive learning come into play whilst doing the jigsaw, including counting, imagination, observation and so much more.

The jigsaw pieces are quite big making them really easy to use for little hands, making hand and eye co-ordination really helpful or them.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE THE JIGSAW
Take as long as you want, the more interaction and play you use, the longer it will take to put together and that is what makes it fun.

GOOD TO KNOW
Comes with a lovely giant poster which can be used as a reference when putting the jigsaw together and even put up on the wall when finished.
