INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE COMPANY ‘PLANET BUDDIES’

Now, we all know and hear a lot of late about the planet and our environment, so to find out that the packaging Planet Buddies is made from 100% recyclable cardboard, I was elated. They do not use plastic in any of their products and packaging and soy-based inks are use for their prints. All of this makes it so much more environmentally friendly and this includes Olive The Owl Bluetooth Speaker which I will come on to next.

I was delighted to learn that Planet Buddies have teamed up with WLT (World Land Trust) and MCS (Marine Conservation Society). They say that with each sale, a part of the revenue is donated to the charity which is supporting the animal that is features on the purchased product. The animal featured on the box I received was a turtle. This was heart-warming as I have swum with these beautiful creatures in the wild and knowing they are being look after is just beautiful.

Now onto Olive The Owl…

With such vibrant colours of a pink body, yellow feet and nose and a big blue heart, these colours make for great cognitive learning. Olives eyes are closed and she is just adorable.

I set Olive up in the baby nursery that my daughter has which is ready to welcome our new grandchild in a few months. We read more information and went onto to see what Olive could do.

It was great to learn that we could play music and she can even read audio books. Knowing that our future grandchild has this in their room is lovely and Olive will be able to help baby relax and keep baby calm.

She connects to bluetooth very easily, just make sure your device is 5.0 compatible or older. We have a very old iPhone so we have set that up for it to be used specifically with Olive. If you decide to use your day-to-day smartphone, Olive, whilst connected to it will allow you to take calls and with a built in microphone, you are able to take calls hand free…. How ‘handy’ is that… sorry, I could not resist.

Oh, and the sound is fantastic, nothing tinny about it, absolutely amazing quality.
