On receiving the Nom Nom Kids Reusable Food Pouches, my initial thoughts were how pleasing to the eye they were, they are very colourful, and definitely appeal to any child with their lovely images of jungle animals. They are also very well made and feel sturdy enough to stand the test of time. The pack contains three pouches with lids, and easy to follow instructions.
I found the pouches very easy to use, they have a zip lock opening on the side to fill them. My four year old and two year old twins also found them easy to use, and enjoyed eating their yogurt from them. They are very handy as they can be filled and frozen in order to keep them chilled for a picnic or packed lunches, I also think they would be brilliant to take out and about when weaning your baby.
The pouches are easily cleaned in warm soapy water, and are also suitable for the dishwasher. I love the fact that although made of plastic, they are Phthalate and PVC free, as well as being eco-friendly, and they even have a panel on the back with space to write who the pouch belongs to, what it is filled with, whether it needs to be warmed or chilled, and the date the pouch was filled.
All things considered I think these pouches are great, and at the very reasonable price of £2.95 for a single pouch or £6.95 for a pack of 3 pouches. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with children. My only small criticism would be that I think the pouches could be a tiny bit bigger or maybe even come in an additional bigger size for older children as they only hold 120ml of liquid food, for this reason I would give them a score of 4.5/5.
