Bowled over by Namco bowling Tamworth!
Namco bowling in Tamworth is easy to find, with the postcode taking you straight to the location and lots of parking available.
Bright and modern entrance with friendly and welcoming staff, who quickly checked us in. After collection of our snazzy footwear donned by all in true ten pin fashion we took to our lane.
The very tastefully upholstered seating areas are comfortable and modern with a very useful table between the adjoining lanes, and a bowling prize ticket machine. The machine produces tickets as the bowling takes place which then can be exchanged for a small prize at the end.
Table service for drinks from the bar and on site Costa Coffee and Wimpy which are both very reasonably priced, making it an ideal friends and family afternoon out.
Sweetie machines line the top of the bowling ball racks, with tubs for the sweets to go into which is a fantastic addition as it saves hands full of sticky sweets trying to bowl and hold on to their goodies. It shows that the little things have been thought through well.
Help is on hand if there are any issues with inputting the bowlers names to the game screen and the pins appear swiftly once the game starts.
Funny and entertaining graphics accompany the scoring and background music fills the room in an unobtrusive way, making it easy to have conversation and a real laugh.
There are plenty of party and group packages for all ages and group type, including scope for corporate days and team building packages. An extra feature to extend a family day our is the onsite separate soft play for two different age group of child with plenty of seating including a birthday area, and a well placed Costa Coffee within the safety enclosed area.
Even though I was beaten in our game by a mere (50) points it is still a 5* afternoon out and highly recommended to all.
