As someone who had never seen Pudsey and Ashleigh on Britain’s Got Talent I wasn’t sure what to expect from this show. I attended with my 11 year old daughter who was excited to see Pudsey perform. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy the show but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I did enjoy it.

The Alhambra is one of my favourite theatres. The theatre is visually stunning both inside and out. The staff are always very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It is easily located and accessible in Bradford City Centre with plenty of payable parking nearby.

In the show Ashleigh and Pudsey are intelligent spy partners in the K9 division. At the start of the show the Bone of Ruff is stolen by cat burglars working for the evil villain Dr Feline. Dr Feline intends to use the power of the Bone of Ruff to take over the world. Ashleigh and Pudsey’s mission is to defeat Dr Feline, recover the Bone of Ruff and save the world. The chase to find Dr Feline takes them around the globe from Ireland to Russia engaging with other members of his evil organisation along the way.

Members of the audience were initiated as new members to the K9 division and interact with the cast throughout the show. The audience helps Pudsey and Ashleigh solve clues, puzzles and codes to track Dr Feline.

Pudsey performs some of the tricks he is so famous for to help Ashleigh defeat Dr Feline and save the world. He is especially cute arriving in his mini car and driving across the stage. For me Dr Feline and Stevi Ritchie (from X Factor) who played one of Dr Feline’s cat burglars really stole the show. They were really funny to watch and delivered some brilliant lines. My daughter especially liked it when they came out into the audience and squirted everyone with water guns! The acrobats/dancers who played the other cat burglars were also extremely good.

The special effects in the show really added a wow factor. The jet pack that Ashleigh and Pudsey used to follow Dr Feline to the tomb was great to watch. It travelled in the air around the stage and towards the audience. My favourite was the huge sand serpent that was defeated in the tomb. It travelled across the stage and then spat out streamers into the audience. This was amazing to watch.

There were a few opening night slip ups and glitches but these were all worked around and the show continued on.

The show was good fun for all ages and would make a great family night out. My daughter loved the show. Her only comment was that she would have liked to see more of Pudsey throughout the show.
