A good shower makes us feel so fresh and clean, if your daily shower has not been hitting the spot recently you might want to consider replacing the shower head, a build up of limescale can affect the performance of your shower, or you may just fancy an upgrade. Changing the shower head is very simple and easy to do and does not require any special tools it’s just a case of unscrewing the old one and screwing on the new one, with no disruption to your bathroom whatsoever. The Mira switch has a universal fitting to attach to all hoses but is only compatible with mixer and digital showers.
The Mira Switch shower head has a diameter of 130mm which is larger than the average shower head to give a wider coverage, it is available in a chrome or white finish, with a modern design the silicone surface of the water nozzles make it easy to wipe clean which will help to keep limescale under control.
There are four settings on this model each one giving a different spray pattern, there’s “saturate” which is the fullest spray and combined with the larger spray head this setting makes it so efficient at rinsing off soap suds and shampoo, the “stimulate” setting is a more concentrated spray with more power for those times when you need energising, “soothe” is a softer spray especially designed for sensitive skin and would also be good for young children who are just getting used to having a shower, the final setting is “soak” which gives a finer spray but plenty of water, the settings are easily changed by a push pad at the base of the spray head.
In 2016 this product received a red dot award a sign of good design and good quality and has also had an accreditation from the skin health alliance due to its special setting for sensitive skin.
