Gifts Personalised Plaque Review

Reviewed by Amanda Hayes

Today I received a gorgeous little wooden plaque in the post from Neatly packaged in a silver envelope style gift packet it will pop through most letter boxes with ease. On opening the packet, which was closed with a heart shape tab, the first thing you see are the words, “Handmade & personalised in the UK with love”. A really nice touch which would appeal to my friends and family.

As it happens the products are made locally to me in East Sussex which makes it all the more appealing. The plaque that I received was painted cream with rustic writing on it and a loop of twine to hang it up. Decorated with green buttons and a personalised heart it will fit in with pretty much any décor. My particular plaque had the words “Grandad… No matter how tall I grow I will always look up to you!” painted on it which my Dad, my sons Grandad, will love. You can buy them just as they are but we had ours personalised with my son’s name which makes it far more special. The personalisation is on the hanging heart on the twine, not on the sign itself, and is held on by a cute piece of green ribbon.

On researching the company I found out several things, as mentioned previously it’s a local business to me, secondly all the products are handmade at home, and thirdly it’s a husband and wife team made to fit round their children. Wherever I can I prefer to use a small local businesses rather than imported products and having seen the description of the company on their website it’s certainly one I would promote. makes literally hundreds of signs, plaques and decorations from all occasions from birthdays to weddings with a budget range to suit everyone. Most products can be personalised including some lovely artwork for weddings, anniversaries and special occasions, I found these particularly good value from £12.99 for a bespoke piece of art, and they will definitely be on my future gifting list.

If you are looking for a personalised gift for a special occasion (such as Father’s Day, 18 June 2017) or just a treat for a loved one I recommend visiting and browsing the website or taking a look at their Facebook page. You are sure to find something to suit your taste and budget and be promoting a small local business at the same time.
