I was excited to review this, for my young foster children I have been having recently who need their independence but also need to be close by.  They are suitable from 12 months to 3 years.

When my daughter was younger I just used the reins or straps for the wrist.  I wish they had been more popular when she was a toddler.

There are many different designs and all are very colourful, the bags are made from recycled bottles our little bag was made from 7.9 bottles and they donate 1% of all their profits to sea life conservation charities which helps to protect the oceans.

The design I chose was the turtle, as will be having girls and boys and felt this was a nice unisex one to go with.  It arrived and at first sight, looked quite small, but I was surprised how much I could get into it for a day out.  My little ones love being able to carry their own bag.

I used the bag to put some snacks, drinks, a nappy, and wipes in.  The bag is strong and durable and the attachable strap is strong and just the right size to allow them to be a little bit ahead of you the loop and the reins are strong and I didn’t feel like it was going to break when they pulled on it.  The carry handle was also strong and easy for them to carry when going out to the car.

They are wipeable and easy to clean, as well as being waterproof.  I did find the straps a little bit fiddly to adjust once on, took a few minutes to get them right.  Once the straps were in the right place, he was happy to wear it and didn’t want to take it off even when playing in the park, it was great that the reins could then be tucked away and pulled out again for when we were walking.

It will definitely be my go-to backpack when we are out and about for the day, as it was a great accessory and one that he liked wearing.  I have also noticed they do bigger ones for children age 3- 5 years when checking out the website, the designs are still similar but without the reins and bigger in size, these would make a great bag for attending nursery.

I have a few friends with toddlers, so I will be purchasing some for Christmas presents.

I would rate this cute little bag 4/5 the only reason for this is due to the adjustment time of the straps, it was hard to get them right without being too tight, and a little gap around the body, but I still felt confident that they couldn’t get out, so they were safe and it was comfortable as they were happy to wear it.
