With thoughts turning to the purchase of those elusive Christmas gifts, I was delighted to receive a fantastic hamper from hampers.com to review. This UK based company is located in Oxfordshire and a look at their website shows what an incredible range of hampers and gift baskets are available – certainly a gift for any occasion!

The hamper I received was the ‘Let It Snow’ Christmas hamper – one amazing product from their range of 26 Christmas hampers. On opening the well packaged item, I was impressed with the simple but classy hamper box – a sturdy box which could certainly be utilised after the contents have been used. The items within the hamper were attractively displayed with straw packaging which helped to protect the contents while in transit. There were eight items in the box with many well-known brand names.

My eyes were immediately drawn to a few unusual products – Brandy Butter Popcorn and Gingerbread Caramel Spread!
The products which were included were:
1. Mr Filberts Dry Roasted Peanuts – an ideal snacking pack containing very moreish savoury spicy peanuts. It was great to see such detailed information on the packaging regarding contents/allergens etc.
2. Grandma Wilds Butter Shortbread Biscuits – these were in a very attractive tube and were a lovely classic, buttery shortbread. A simple biscuit to be enjoyed at any time.
3. Joe & Seph’s Brandy Butter Gourmet Popcorn – a lovely pack of gourmet popcorn flavoured with caramel and Spanish brandy. This was an unusual item that I would certainly purchase again. Details of how to order from the company were clearly displayed on the packaging.
4. Made For Drink Truffle Crisps – another unusual item. I hadn’t heard of this company but the truffle seasoned crisps certainly had the ‘wow’ factor and would add something special to that Christmas buffet.
5. Choccy Scoffy Chocolate Truffles by Monty Bojangles – a lovely sweet treat of delicious cocoa dusted truffles presented in a Christmassy golden box.
6. Thursday Cottage Gingerbread and Caramel Spread – I was intrigued by this as it sounded so delicious and the taste certainly didn’t disappoint. Lovely on warm toast!
7. Cookies & Cream Mini Bar by The Cambridge Confectionery Co. – a small white chocolate bar containing pieces of cookie. Ideal for those with a sweet tooth!!
8. Fruili Pinot Grigio by Tenimenti Civa – a really special Italian wine with a fruity flavour. Sure to be a winner over the Christmas period.

It is great to see such display of mainly English produced products within the hamper.
