Role play is a real favourite of my daughter Kate, age 8, so she was excited to say the least when she was recently given this amazing Pretend and Play Post Office Set to review and couldn’t wait to open the box and begin playing.
The Post Office Set was well packaged and looked great fun with its 178 pieces including coins, phone top up vouchers and postcards. Basically everything you would need to set up your very own Post Office.
Upon opening we found 2 clear bags, one contained the play set back drop carry case and the other the coins etc…
We found it simple to put together and my daughter then went upstairs to fetch her Playmobil characters down to play with the set.
She had great fun getting her characters to post letters and parcels and really enjoyed being the Post Mistress making sure all her deliveries etc… were made and then shutting shop at the end with her Sorry We’re Closed sign.
This fantastic play set has been a massive hit with Kate and I have a feeling her Post Office will soon become the best in Manchester as she was very methodical in her role play making each pile of letters and parcels tidy and in the right place before being put in the miniature post bag.
The play set is high quality and looks fabulous, the attention to detail is superb, each coin looks real, the driving and fishing license paperwork looks authentic and the set as a whole will leave you and your children smiling.
I must say, as a mum, my favourite part of the set was the fact it could be stored away with the carry case so you won’t lose any pieces or feel the need to keep the box.
The set is aimed at children 3 years + and I agree completely as some of the coins could potentially become a choking hazard due to their size.
I can see the Pretend and Play sets becoming extremely popular as they are absolutely fantastic and had an excellent educational value!
