Morrison’s Giant Cookie, Flowers And Sorso Prosecco Review

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world and in the UK, we will be celebrating it on the 19th March 2023!

What an absolute fantastic way to celebrate the mothers in your lives! Morrison’s is once again spoiling mothers with lovely ideas such as the giant Mother’s Day cookie, flowers and bottles of Prosecco to complete the day. With the cost of living increasing almost daily, it really helps knowing that you can still spoil the special people in your life with lovely treats at cost effective prices. And these three target all the different areas that most mothers would enjoy to celebrate their special day.

The delicious giant milk chocolate chip cookie (which retails at £7.99) appeals to those who have a sweet tooth like myself! If you are going to treat me, you need to start with something very sweet! The giant cookie has a Happy Mothers-day message piped on in pink and yellow icing. My family and I found the cookie absolutely delicious, however the icing is incredibly sweet and although this may appeal to some, others may not enjoy the rich flavoured icing. The cookie comes in a pizza base box with a see through cover which creates a lovely display.

The next little prize is the bouquet of sweet smelling flowers. Now I don’t profess to be a know it all when it comes to flowers but the gorgeous bouquet of flowers (which retails at £6.00) is both a treat to the eyes and the nose! With four different types of flowers that make up the bouquet, the beautiful fragrances move through your house so quickly and with spring on our doorstep, it is so lovely to start smelling it inside the house! The Morrison’s in my town has a lovely selection of bouquets for every budget. They also have a range of gifts that can be purchased with your flowers and lovely themed helium balloons.

And then just to top of off, the Sorso Prosecco (which retails at £6.49) was the perfect completion in this bundle. Sorso Prosecco is a quintessentially Italian sparkling wine, fun and fruity with apple and pear flavours. Perfect to enjoy on its own or recommended with spicy Thai dishes. I am very fussy when it comes to alcohol but I thoroughly enjoyed this Prosecco. It was easy to drink and the taste wasn’t overpowering at all. Enjoy a moment of Italian style with Sorso.

Online shopping seems to be at the order of the day when it comes to groceries. I myself prefer to ship in store but I’m just old and set in my ways. I know others that purchase their groceries this way and find it easy and less stressful.
