Jockey Skimmies Cooling Slipshort Review

I received a pair of light beige cooling mid length slipshort skimmies from Jockey to review. I was somewhat sceptical and thought they would make me hot in the warm temperatures we have been having of late. Anyway, I popped them on for a day under my work trousers to conduct a full day’s review. It was a warm day in the region of 22 degrees and much to my surprise, they kept me cooler than usual. The great thing is they also hold in the flabby bits and create the perfect silhouette – yay!
When putting them on it was deceptive – it did not look like there was much expansion in the slipshort.
Much to my surprise, they give easily and I did not struggle at all, they just glided over my hips and bottom. They are high waisted and very very comfy to wear. I did even know I was wearing them (I forgot as they are so comfortable to wear), they did feel much nicer than my normal daily underwear. The inbuilt cooling system is amazing and really works. I guess in the winter months it will have opposite effect and will keep you warm. In the past I have worn similar items to smooth out my silhouette, but they have been very uncomfortable and made me sweat – well not these. I cannot recommend them enough. In fact, I have been looking at the website with a view to purchasing more underwear.
The slipshort is 79% polyamide, 18% elastase and 3% cotton. They are light beige (also available in Black, Sandy shimmer and Blue Topaz) with shaped areas and they sit mid-way between the hip and knee. So ideal to wear with dresses, skirts, in fact you can wear with most items of clothing for the perfect shape. I was really surprised by the quality of the garment. They are not expensive, in fact a lot cheaper than similar products currently on the market. They cost in the region of £16 but the website does have offers from time to time.
These shorts are comfortable, supportive and smooth. The get rid of the hated knicker line. The great thing is they sit perfectly on the body and they never moved all day long, i.e. did not roll up. I also did not find myself having to adjust then all day – like you do with similar products. I have worn them three times now and each time they have washed well and the dry very quickly. An excellent product and I am definitely going to purchase another pair. I recommend this product for all ages young and old.
