Hugo Woman Review

Reviewed by Sandip Stapleton

I received the Hugo Woman Eau de Parfum and was looking forward to trying it out for the summer season.

The bottle is quite a simple circle shaped bottle with red lettering. The words HUGO being the most noticeable. It’s not a very eye catching bottle and the red bold lettering lets it down somewhat but it’s the scent which is the most important thing.

I first tried it on the school run in the morning and I could still smell it during the afternoon which is a great positive in my book. The bottle I have is a 50ml bottle but given that you don’t need to top up during the day I can see this bottle lasting quite a while.

It’s a subtle, sweet, fruity smell that is very feminine with a slight musk to it but not sickly sweet at all. It’s not an overpowering smell and one that is probably more suited to day wear as it is quite light in strength.

It isn’t too teenage smelling or too mature either so I think this could be worn by all ages. I would be quite pleased if I were to receive this as a gift.

I really liked this perfume and can see this being worn quite a lot more than some of my other perfumes.

Overall, I would say that this is a perfume perfect for day wear which is sweet but not overpowering.

My only criticism is that I feel the bottle lets it down slightly.
