Helly Hansen Headband Review

In recent months I have been on a health kick and walk the local hills in our area two or three times a week. At this time of the year, it’s often freezing cold, wet and or damp. So, when I was asked to review this headband I thought what a great addition to my walking outfits!
I say outfits in the loosest sense of the word. My friends will be super impressed when I rock up sporting this headband which is in a lovely soft green colour called icicle. This lovely headband from the luxury brand Helly Hansen is super soft to the touch. It does only come in one standard size, which fits snugly to your head. It’s a great asset to your winter wardrobe.
Helly Hansen claim to have combined warmth and style and I would tend to agree. It’s a great way to keep your head warm, I am not a fan of a full on bobble hat, I just get too hot, so this is a perfect solution for me. It’s an added bonus that it makes me look stylish while keeping me warm.
The website gives full care instructions so you can your headband looking and smelling fresh. The headband is made from 100% polyester recycled. It has flatlock seams for extra comfort, with the well known Helly Hansen branding on the front.
Helly Hansen as a brand was established in 1877, so a long standing company. They offer a military discount program, first responder and healthcare professionals discounts. It’s well worth checking a brands website before placing an order. They do offer free shipping if you spend over £80 and deliveries are delivered within 2-6 business days; they also offer a thirty day return policy. It is interesting to read the company history and how the company was founded by Helly Juell Hansen. They clearly think a lot about the environment and have introduced ethical values to their wide range of products.
My children are young adults and I have a feeling they will be coveting this headband, thinking that I am too old to be trendy! That’s both sons and our daughter who I will need to watch out for accidentally taking it home with them.
Sometimes it’s worth spending the extra money for a good high quality product. This would make an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, or for a busy mum on the school run. It’s so versatile, you can dress it up or down. The win win for me is the fact I can disguise that I have not brushed or washed my hair. The colour works for all sorts of outfits. Personally I wouldn’t have probably considered this type of outerwear, but it’s super comfy and means I am warm, with my hair held neatly back. A great little addition for my winter wear!
