Helly Hansen Graphic 2.0 T-Shirt Review

As a family we spend the majority of our leisure time outside, so we were really pleased to have the opportunity to review the Helly Hansen Graphic t-shirt. Helly Hansen is synonymous with good quality outdoor clothing, so we were expecting great things.
When the postman delivered the parcel, we could see straight away we weren’t going to be disappointed. The Graphic t-shirt comes in three colours, cobalt blue, grey fog & cyber lime, which is the colour we were sent. The cyber lime is a lovely soft lime colour, not bright hi viz style, but still visible enough to stand out. With a plain back & large silvery grey Helly Hansen logo on the front its perfect for sporting activities, but stylish enough to wear every day. The double stitched seams not only give it additional design detailing they make the t-shirt more hardwearing and robust.
The t-shirt is made of 100% recycled polyester and is super lightweight & therefore quick to dry. The material has UPF50 sun protection, which is something I actively look for in a sports t-shirt, making it perfect for cycling, hiking, sailing or any outdoor leisure activity, and with its slightly longer arms it has good shoulder coverage as well as full torso coverage to protect your skin from harmful sun exposure.
It has excellent moisture wicking properties, great for keeping you dry and sweat free, this does mean however it needs washing after every wear to keep it smelling fresh. It is very easy to launder, just turn inside out and wash on a 30 degree cycle, with clothing of a similar colour and hang to dry. You can’t tumble dry it, but you don’t need to as it’s so quick to dry and even better news, it doesn’t need ironing!
We ordered a size small, which would fit a slim adult or large child, although it was quite long on our son who is around 5ft tall, it was a great length for a standard size adult. The sizing isn’t overly generous, so you may want to order the next size up when purchasing. You can purchase direct from the Helly Hansen website, where you get free 30 day returns should it not fit, or from any good outdoor retailer, and I think its great value.
For the rrp of £27.00, it might not be the cheapest t-shirt out there, but you get an excellent quality UPF protection t-shirt with superb design that is easy to wash & dry, doesn’t take up much space and is lightweight, perfect for throwing in a suitcase for a weekend away.
The Graphic 2.0 t-shirt from Helly Hansen comes highly recommended from both my husband & son, so much so that they are interested in getting one in the cobalt blue colour which looks like a nice vibrant blue, great for pairing with jeans or dark coloured shorts. After wearing it for a running event my son said it kept him both cool and looking good, praise indeed from a tween!
