Halos n Horns Toothy Fruity Toothpaste Review

Reviewed by Louise Totton

I received a package with a Toothy Fruity Toothpaste from Halos ‘n Horns. It had a good quality feel, the design was appealing to my 3 year old who was very keen to try it. We much prefer this style of tube where the cap is large and acts as a ‘stand’. Much tidier on the bathroom shelf.

I thought the toothpaste was a rather unappealing, lurid red colour. However, my daughter thought this was great, and it seemed to encourage her in cleaning her teeth. The taste/smell was sweet and fruity and it lacked the chemical/fake fruit flavour of many fruity toothpastes. I wouldn’t use it myself (too sweet), but my daughter was really keen and asked if she could use it instead of her normal toothpaste the following morning. A winner in this house!

I liked it, I would certainly recommend it, especially for reluctant teeth cleaners! It is slightly more expensive than I would normally spend on a small tube, but if it stops teeth cleaning battles then it is well worth it.
