Men should look smart, and a nice suit with a crisp clean shirt and tie is always a good luck. I was sent a Guthrie & Valentine White Stripe Twill Single Cuff Regular Fit Shirt from Slater Menswear to review, this is what I thought of it.

This is a lovely 100% cotton crisp white shirt, with a Twill weave and a single cuff, that is suitable for any occasion really. It is not a smooth, plain finish but has a thin raised stripe texture going through the material, which I think gives it more of a sophisticated feel to it, and an edge over a normal plain white shirt. It has a single, button, cuffed finish which means no cuff links are needed, which some men (like my Dad) might prefer.

This shirt is available in sizes small, regular and XL, with collar sizes from 15 to 22. It is also available in 3 colour options: white, lilac and light blue.

The fit is as described, which is always handy to know if you are ordering online.

All in all, this is a good quality white shirt that will smarten up any man’s outfit.
