Foxy: A Magical Tail by Emma Dodd Review

Reviewed by Louisa Nashir

This bright and greatly illustrated book was a lovely surprise when the postman knocked on the door recently.

The story is about a little girl called Emily who is due to start school the next day and was very worried that she doesn’t have the item necessary to start school. Her friend Foxy says he can help and with a swish of his magical tail. First he tries to magic up a pencil but ends up with a penguin! After a few funny attempts foxy magic’s up everything Emily needs to starts school.

Emily is still worried though but with Foxy’s help she goes off to school happy and excited.

A funny little story which had my daughter laughing over and over.

The illustrations are colourful and cute and the text a good size to read.

The pages aren’t crowded with words so even the smallest reader in your house will find it a doddle to read.

Well worth £6.99

An excellent book which is fun and will put a smile on your face.
