FFS The Full Shebang Review

Beauty upkeep can be a right pain, can’t it? Literally! Between waxing or shaving our eyebrows, legs, unmentionables and everything in between, if you use the wrong products, it can cause irritation, discomfort and much more. Definitely not ideal.

That’s where FFS beauty comes in – and no, it’s not what you think! Fuss Free Shaving – get it?! – have a kit that will answer your shaving prayers! FFS wanted to make shaving less of a chore, and more of a self-care experience with their cruelty-free, sustainable, luxurious products.

The FFS ‘Full Shebang’ set in rose comes with:
– A bag to store the razor
– 4 razor blades
– A rose gold metal shaver handle
– Pre-shave scrub
– Shaving cream
– Post-shave balm
– A clamshell protector (for travel)
– A shower holder

On first impressions, the gift box in which is arrives is a funky green-blue geometric design which easily fitted through my letterbox (win!). Everything is beautifully on display as soon as you open the box too – each item was safe and secure in its little house and hadn’t moved during transit. The packaging is all in keeping with the same geometric design – from the bag to the bottles. Everything is sleek and modern, and very appealing. The information on the inside of the box was a lovely intro to the company along with info around their recycle scheme. So, FFS aren’t just practical and luxurious, they’re sustainable too.

The luxe rose gold metal shaver handle – which you can even opt to personalise with a little engraving – is weighty and feels really high quality. It’s super shiny, and also feels highly robust. Something that my old disposable razors definitely didn’t feel!

Each of the three serums included are rich in manuka honey, almond abstract and either ground walnut (exfoliant), coconut oil (shaving cream) or cocoa butter (post-shave balm). They also all smell divine!

I was sold on looks alone, but would the set live up to the hype?

Well… talk about a close shave! The sharp blades, and easy-to-grip handle made for a surprisingly smooth shaving experience. The pre-shave scrub was exfoliating without being too harsh on my sensitive skin. Coupled with the FFS shaving cream and FFS smooth balm, FFS really took the hassle out of shaving all while leaving my legs feeling the smoothest they have done in a long time.

While this might be seen as a slightly unorthodox gift, I think your wife, girlfriend, sister or aunt would thank you greatly for this luxe little treat this Christmas. For RRP £45, but currently on sale for £36 via their website, it’s truly an ideal gift! I know I wouldn’t have necessarily popped it on my list for Santa, but I for one (and my leg) are truly thankful for FFS this winter! FFS don’t just make products for women either, as they also have shaving kit options for that hairy man in your life.

So, girls – and boys – for FFS, make sure the FFS Full Shebang set is on your Christmas list this year.
