Red wine Madeira and lamb and Chianti and porcini mushrooms were the two I used but there are many others too. A very versatile little sachet that can be used in anything from stews to salads. Both the ones I tried added a rich flavour to my dishes and gave off a wonderful aroma.
I used the chianti/mushroom reduction to make a sauce for steak. It made a lovely addition to the meal. The madeira/lamb was added to a casserole I did in the slow cooker – the smell when I entered the house was divine!! So was the taste.
I loved them both, and have added them to my shopping list for next week. Try them… you won’t be disappointed.
