Elizabeth Shaw Chocolates Review

Reviewed by Sarah Heathcock

Today I received a selection of Elizabeth Shaw chocolate to sample. This included Raisin and Cocoa Biscuits, Milk Chocolate Mint Crisps and Dark Chocolate cappuccino Flutes.

The Raisin and Cocoa biscuits are my favourite. The packaging is very elegant and appealing. The luxury box is 140g and contains 9 biscuits. They are a delicious biscuit covered in caramel and topped with raisins and crunchy bits and covered in chocolate.

Once I tried one I wanted to eat the whole packet, they were very moreish and not sickly at all.

The Milk Chocolate thins were my second favourite. They are in a nicely presented box and individually wrapped in little silver foils to keep each chocolate fresh. The box was 175g and contained 28 individual chocolates. The chocolate itself was a nice smooth milky chocolate with crispy honeycomb pieces and also mint flavour. I found it very difficult to stop at just eating a few at a time as they were so delicious. They are also ideal for sharing, not that I wanted to!

The dark chocolate Cappuccino Flutes came in a nice beautifully presented box and was 105g with approximately 24 chocolate flutes.

They are thin dark chocolate sticks filled with a milk chocolate and coffee centre. The dark chocolate was nice and rich and the centre was smooth with a hint of cappuccino which was not too overpowering.

Overall these are all very lovely chocolate products of a high quality and are idea for gifts especially Mother’s Day, Christmas or birthdays. They are all elegantly packaged well and are ideal for sharing or just for an individual. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking at buying a nice fancy chocolate. I will definitely be purchasing these products as gifts and looking at trying other Elizabeth Shaw products in their range.
