Yesterday evening we travelled to the Oast House, Spinningfields, in the centre of the Manchester, for the launch of the Disaronno Terrace. The venue is a very trendy bar which was created from a reclaimed 16th century oast house and is a perfect spot for a summer evening’s entertainment. Inside, the building is very rustic with a cosy Old English feel, but outside there is a large stylish terrace with huge shaded areas, an open stage and atmospheric lighting. Situated right next to the city’s Crown Court, it is very accessible. We travelled by car and had very little difficulty in parking in a safe side street within a short walking distance.

We sat outside on the large terrace, sipping delicious cocktails and listening to live music from four piece garage band Spring King and duo Slow Club. The Disaronno Sour cocktail is to die for. I was initially rather dubious as I thought it would taste too sweet, but I soon realised that was not the case as I went back repeatedly for more!

We had lots of fun having our photos taken in the specially designed Disaronno bottle shaped photo booth and then just relaxing and enjoying the music. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, ensuring that we had a perfectly enjoyable time.

We really had no idea what to expect, so we were delighted to discover what an fabulous night we had in store. We had a wonderful evening, so if you want to have a really fun night out, with entertainment and delicious cocktails, this is the place to go!

The event will return to Manchester’s magnificent courtyard at The Oast House on 5^th August, before ending its tour in Edinburgh at The Loft Bar during the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 19^th and 26^th August.
