Dara Ó Briain Voice of Reason Tour

Written by Nigel Chester

Dara Ó Briain is a veteran of British comedy, not to make him sound too old, whose abilities as a comic have few equals on the circuit today. That’s not to say that his abilities are limited to comedy having presented not only the Dave Stalwart Mock the Week but including a diverse range of programmes including Robot Wars in its recent and all too short revival and Stargazing Live with Televisions Favourite Physicist, Professor Brian Cox.

Dara’s career has taken him to all corners of the UK, With each location providing its own unique material, like the bags of crisps left on stage for him in Coventry even twelve years after an exchange with an audience member, or even further afield being somewhat taken aback having been outdone in Tromsø thinking that such a remote outpost of civilisation within the arctic circle couldn’t often have live comedy only to be informed that Bill Bailey had performed the night before and was travelling even further north to Svalbard!

Despite the international Acclaim Dara insists that his life is just normal which forms one of the themes of his latest show, “Voice of Reason”, along with such diverse topics as The rise of the Nerd alongside his own run-ins with the Fake News Phenomena. Ó Briain’s previous tours have been immortalised in Classic Stand up DVD’s, also broadcast on the BBC as one hour stand up specials. The “Voice of Reason” Tour will surely match the quality of these classic routines with the original tour of 40 Dates having been extended from June to December 2018. This stands to be a not-to-be-missed tour with Dates and tickets available nationwide from www.daraobriain.com.
