Cyrine Aromatherapie Reed Diffuser Review

Reviewed by Amy Jones

I was excited to try the Cyrine Aromatherapie diffuser in Ylang Ylang. Normally I am a huge fan of scented candles, however there are a few drawback to candles, firstly they only give off scent after you light them, so no coming home to a fresh scent and secondly there is always the fire danger with candles and my very hyper cats.

When the diffuser arrived it was in a lovely box and looked very expensive, ideal for a gift. However I was disappointed that no instructions were included, there is however a website that does have information on it.

For the first three days I was concerned that the diffuser wasn’t working, no matter how much I twisted the reeds I couldn’t smell anything. In the end I flipped them over and dipped the dry ends back in the diffuser, exposing the wet ends. This seemed to help and a lovely subtle floral scent was subsequently released into the air.

I had the diffuser placed above the fireplace in my living room, which is open planned into the kitchen area. Personally I would prefer a stronger scent, I feel that the room was never fully scented with this diffuser, therefore I would recommend this for smaller areas.

Overall I was a little disappointed with this diffuser. If the fragrance was stronger I would have been able to smell the scent it was putting out (which was lovely) across the whole room, then it would’ve impressed me a lot more.
