There is always space in my kitchen for fresh flowers, anytime throughout the year really, no excuses needed to treat myself at all. I have in recent times been sent flowers through the post and not really had a positive experience for one reason or another.

The box these Christmas flowers came in was very secure and amply held the bouquet within. The wrapping and packaging was outstanding, sorry in my excitement I forgot to take a picture. The flowers had a lovely white wrapping which was very complimentary to the flowers it held so beautifully. The bottom of the stems were wrapped with a wet padding, which had kept the flowers fresh and ready to be placed in the vase.

What was refreshing was the flower care guide, not just some generic information on how to get the best out of your flowers, there was a breakdown guide for different types which covered lots of essential advice. There were also six essential tips which also gave you excellent advice on how to care for your blooms. A nice touch is £7.50 off your next order; I will be keeping that somewhere safe to use as a post Christmas treat.

For me flowers just make me smile, so to receive a Christmas themed bouquet was just delightful. Gold leaf’s interwoven along with some pine cones really do complement the red carnations. Christmas is a special time of year and there isn’t a wife, mum or nan out there who doesn’t appreciate a bouquet of flowers, especially when they work so hard in the festive season to ensure everyone has a great time.

This bouquet was of a very good size, and looking at the website for 123 Flowers is very good value for money. I have followed all the care instructions, so snipping 3-5cm off the flower stems, to ensure I get the maximum life from them. Kitchen is quite cool in temperature and they recommend to keep them away from direct sunlight, although to be fair there isn’t much of that around in December.

If you were to have any issues, or want to let them know how pleased you are with your order then is an online contact form, and some Frequently asked questions, which are all fairly easy to follow. The company have a large range of products, including plants, gifts and Christmas hampers. They even have options for next day delivery, so you haven’t left it too late to order that special someone in your life a delightful bouquet for Christmas or even a New Year’s Eve gift.

I was interested to note that all packaging is fully recyclable and they proudly state they source flowers from Fairtrade Farms. It is becoming more important to know who you’re buying from has a conscience and cares about the planet. Take a minute to read the about us section, it’s quite interesting.

I for one will be looking at their range of flowers next time I am gifting, absolutely delighted with my flowers.
