Bumble and Boo Relaxing Pamper Hamper Review

I received a beautiful Bumble and Boo relaxing pamper hamper and I could not have been happier with it. It arrived in white shiny wrapping paper topped with a white ribbon tied into a bow at the top of the parcel. Entwined in the ribbon and bow was a little faux white rose and the box felt special even before I opened it.

Inside the wrapping was a Sass and Belle trunk covered with beige, brown and purple rainbows and beige stars on a white background. It opened using a metal case fastening which I found easy to use. It also had a handle similar to the type of handle on a briefcase so that I could easily move it around.

Inside the trunk wrapped in white tissue paper decorated with tiny light grey spots were a variety of treats. The first treat that I spotted was a white chocolate teddy bear holding a pink chocolate heart and standing on a block of milk chocolate. It was individually wrapped and held together by a stick through the centre of it which you can’t see until you start eating it. I must admit that what I thought was a yummy chocolate treat, I soon discovered was intended to be a stirrer for a hot drink. Too late, I’d eaten more than half of it before I realised. If you buy the treat box do try using the chocolate as a stirrer.

Another relaxing treat was a Relax, be kind to yourself candle from Lily-Flame. The candle is encased in a lilac and gold tin and smells of patchouli, jasmine and rose.

In a navy box were 3 Neal’s Yard natural and organic bee treats; Bee Lovely hand cream, Bee Lovely body lotion and Bee lovely, beautiful lip balm. All 3 contain moisturising bees wax and orange essential oil and smell delicious. The lip balm was easy to open in a tin with a screw cap and left my lips feeling lusciously soft. The lotion and hand cream were rich and I found that I didn’t need to use very much at all. They soaked into my skin well and left it feeling soft but not greasy. All 3 products are also the perfect size for your liquids bag when travelling.

There were also two pink roses which looked lovely in terms of decorating the trunk but also served as hand soaps.

The trunk also contained 3 Chamomile and Lavender tea bags which I infused in boiling water for around 5 minutes before drinking at bedtime. I was also able to use thenavy silk-effect eye mask at bedtime. The eye mask was soft and strap which I could adjust so that I could ensure it fitted perfectly. Both of these helped me to drift off to sleep after a relaxing evening.

I think the hamper would would make a lovely gift for a loved one or even a perfect self-care treat for yourself. I shall be keeping the beautiful trunk for keepsakes.
