 Beverley Knight, the ‘Queen of UK Soul’, and now doyenne of the West End, is back with a brand new album and UK tour for 2016.  Newly signed to East West /Warner Music, Beverley will be releasing her 8th studio album in the Spring of 2016. She also announces a UK tour for May/June of next year,see full list of dates and ticket outlets below.

 2015 sees Beverley celebrating 20 years since the release of her debut album the B- Funk and the new tour, her first in 4 years, will feature many of her hits from down the years, as well as songs she has performed in her critically acclaimed West End shows and material from the forthcoming album, more details of which will be announced shortly.

 The 13 date tour takes in many major UK cities and, in a nod to her recent voyage into musical theatre, a London show at the world famous London Palladium, where she is currently starring in an 11 week run of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic Cats.

 Beverley has been one of the UK’s most consistent artists for two decades, scoring several Top 10 albums, including the platinum selling Voice: The Best Of Beverley Knight. She has sold over a million albums in the UK along the way, including four gold certified albums. Accolades include an MBE awarded by the Queen in 2007 for her services to music and charity, three MOBO Awards, several Brit Awards nominations and an outstanding achievement award at The Urban Music Awards.

 Wolverhampton born Knight has recently forged a formidable parallel career in London’s West End, starting with her highly acclaimed debut starring role as Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard in 2013. In 2014 she took on the role role of club singer Felicia Farrell in the hit show Memphis The Musical, for which she received widespread praise from critics and an Olivier Award Nomination as Best Actress in a Musical. The production won Best New Musical at the 2015 What’s On Stage Awards and received more Olivier Award nominations than any other West End show in 2015.

 Her outstanding live performances as a touring artist have gained her a legion of famous fans over the years, from David Bowie to Prince, Stevie Wonder to Quincy Jones. She has collaborated on stage and on record with the likes of Prince, Jamiroquai, Bryan Adams, Ronnie Wood, Andrea Bocelli, Lionel Richie, Take That and Chaka Kahn.
